CanadaGrappling.com is primarily a front-end to a database that lists the results of various submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments across Canada, as well as the results of Canadians in International events. In addition to the database, it also required news and discussion forums, and the capability for several different administrators to be able to update it remotely. A PHPNuke portal system customized by MLogiq provided the underlying structure and the design both fit within that structure and projected the Canadian identity of the site. Two iconic characters representing the sports were also created for promotional and merchandising use.
